Welcome to The Waveney String Duo!
We are classically trained Music Graduates with extensive performing backgrounds as orchestral and chamber musicians. Based in Norfolk and Suffolk (East Anglia) we work within the arts and teach professionally. As a small chamber group, we are able to cater for almost any occasion, adding that special touch to your event!

If you would like advice on choosing the right music for your event, or if there is a specific piece you would like to be played that is not on the repertoire list, then please ask and we will be happy to help!
Fees
Fees vary depending on the location and duration of the event and we require an initial deposit to secure your booking.

I engaged The Waveney String Duo to play at my 60th birthday party. They played for 1 hour whilst guests were arriving for opening drinks, introductions etc.
Before the day, I was presented for signature with the standard Musician's Union Contract for Live Engagement (a comprehensive one page document) and then offered the Duo's extensive Repertoire List to make a selection from classical and popular pieces. I chose 3/4 classical and 1/4 popular pieces, which subsequently worked well. On the day, the girls played beautifully.
I conclude, the Duo are pleasant and businesslike to deal with, and they would grace any special social occasion with their presence and their skilled musicianship.
